Lisa Rasmussen Hoing

CEO, President

Lisa Rasmussen Hoing is a seasoned warrior in the legal arena, bringing over two decades of unparalleled experience to her clients. Armed with a Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska, where she excelled in both Criminal and Civil Litigation Skills Tracks, Lisa has dedicated her career to championing justice and defending the rights of individuals.

After graduating Law School in 2002, Lisa took on the role of Deputy County Attorney in Dawson County, where she honed her skills in prosecuting criminal, juvenile, and mental health cases. Her tenure as a prosecutor was marked by a remarkable record, securing felony convictions across a spectrum of offenses, including drug-related crimes, violent offenses, and white-collar crimes. Lisa's legal acumen extended beyond the courtroom, as she provided vital legal counsel to law enforcement agencies and served as county coroner during on-call hours, showcasing her versatility and commitment to public service.

In 2007, Lisa relocated to Austin, Texas, seeking to deepen her connections with family while continuing her fight for justice as an Assistant Attorney General. Here, she tackled some of the most challenging cases in the state, stepping in as district attorney pro tem for conflict cases and assisting elected officials in prosecuting high-stakes criminal matters. Her impressive track record includes securing felony convictions in offenses such as child pornography, sexual assault, and homicide.

In 2013, driven by a passion for providing exceptional legal representation, Lisa opened her own law office, focused on empowering the citizens of Texas with the dedicated advocacy they deserve. Over the course of her career, and as a member of the State Bar of Texas: Family Law Section, Lisa has also built extensive experience in family law, representing clients in matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, enforcement actions, protective orders, and complex family disputes. She understands that family law cases are often deeply personal and emotionally challenging, and she approaches each case with both compassion and fierce advocacy to help clients protect what matters most. As a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar and the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, Lisa is not only a fierce defender of her clients but also a respected figure within the legal community. Her affiliation with the Texas Bar College highlights her commitment to excellence, ethical standards, and continuous improvement in legal practice. Active in organizations such as the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association and the Williamson County Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association, Lisa remains at the forefront of legal advocacy.

Known for her amiable nature and creative approach to law, Lisa is easy to work with and deeply understanding of her clients' needs. She takes pride in her ability to secure dismissals for her clients and believes that the best defense is an aggressive offense. With Lisa by your side, you gain not just an attorney but a relentless advocate who will fight fiercely for your rights.
